[Blood Garden] is a desperate, brutal manifestation of humanity’s obsession with physiological optimisation. From undergoing invasive treatments in the name of beauty, to altering our bodies with a cocktail of natural extracts and scientific modifications in the hopes of gaining an extended, more elite lifespan.

It is at its core, and emotional response to the lengths that people are willing to go to in order to ascend their earthly limitations to achieve a state of existence beyond comprehension.

—

It’s the second piece in a new series that has been desperate to rip itself out of my head. A world of new age folklore gods & omnipresent beings reflective of the modern era of humanity and the technological, environmental and spiritual influences that will embed themselves in the stories of our future.
